Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure quality standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and effective negotiation tactics.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic decision-making and procurement initiatives.
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure procurement effectiveness and supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate procurement processes into a cohesive operational strategy.
- Lead risk management initiatives related to supply chain vulnerabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
