The Supply Chain Associate is an individual that will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and receiving tasks within the company’s Supply Chain Management department.
Responsibilities
- Support warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Manage and track inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Oversee third-party warehousing for production materials and surplus assets.
- Act as the subject matter expert for inventory management software, including POMS net and NetSuite.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including wrapping packages and organizing deliveries and pickups.
- Assist Quality Assurance in releasing materials by ensuring proper documentation is handled.
- Conduct inventory transactions in the system, entering new quantities and removing items during shipping processes. Support cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Assist management with administrative tasks such as filing documents, handling customer service inquiries, investigating transportation claims, managing surplus disposal, and maintaining records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 5-7 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain role, preferably in the Pharma/BioPharma industry.
- Experience in a GMP environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, MES, and inventory management systems is preferred.
- Proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, and data management software.
- Project management experience is an advantage.
- Strong skills in sourcing and vendor management are beneficial.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Flexibility to work varying hours and some travel may be required.
