Position Summary:To direct and assist with maintenance and repairs on the Printers and associated equipment. Schedule and lead projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Create and distribute job tasks
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Assist other Departments as needed or requested, foster teamwork within the plant and between departments
  • Wear proper PPE for all tasks and insure the Printing Maint. personnel do the same.
  • Assist with insuring that all contractors on site are following plant safety rules and performing tasks as required.
  • Help with dept. schedule. Schedules coverage for time off requested and Holiday schedule.
  • Know and understand the JDE/PEM Purchasing system
  • Knowledge of ISO, QSI, SQF, CPRO systems.
  • Knowledge of PM Schedule
  • Knowledge of GDC Program
  • Knowledge STOP Work Program
  • Knowledge of 5S and CI Programs
  • Assist the Department Supervisor and Coordinator when and where needed. Cover when on leave.
  • Lead and schedule projects. Assist with major Cap Ex projects.
  • Assist in Lead meetings and training
  • Help inforce all SQF, GMP, Safety and HACCP rules.
  • Prioritize department needs on a daily basis
  • Maintain and operate within department budget
  • Assist and maintain time management to insure on time completion and monitor progress
  • Identify and recommend CI opportunities for cost reduction, safety, productivity, and OT reduction.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent, or previous experience.
  • Good Leadership skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Honest and motivated.
  • Must have good communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Proven dependability , reliable, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and with others well with a positive attitude.
  • Be able to work under pressure and trouble shoot problems quickly.
  • Good attendance.
  • Ability to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.
  • Ability to work from heights, including ascending/descending ladders
  • Ability to wear all provided personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in high noise environment
  • Berry level #2 electrical
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Prior Leadership experience of a minimum of 2 years.
