Responsibilities

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Technical skills and ability to understand prints (including GD&T dimensioning), documents, and manuals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles for product and process quality evaluation and control.
  • Ability to follow inspection plans.
  • Ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices.
  • Ability to use inspection equipment (calipers, drop indicators, force gauges, micrometers, and CMM systems etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe).
  • Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations (ISO, GMP, & safety).
  • Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to further knowledge through training courses (internal or external).
  • Customer-focused.
  • Develop, apply, analyze, and test inspection procedures.
  • Corrective and preventive action analysis through a team approach.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years plastics experience.
  • 2 years quality/metrology experience. 

Preferences:

  • OGP and/or Zeiss Programing.
  • Document Control knowledge.
  • Calibration experience.
  • Ability to train.
  • Minitab knowledge.
  • Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
  • ISO Internal Auditor Certification.
