We are seeking a MCS Manufacturing Associate NS to join our team and support development, clinical, and launch activities in a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on operations, including equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, buffer/media preparation, and process monitoring, while ensuring strict adherence to GMP, safety, and compliance protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, clean, and sanitize manufacturing equipment following SOPs and manufacturing procedures (MPs).
- Prepare buffers and media as per defined protocols.
- Perform critical process monitoring, troubleshooting, and in-process sampling.
- Conduct washroom activities, cleaning both small and large-scale equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace in compliance with GMP standards.
- Wear cleanroom gowning, gloves, steel-toe shoes, and other PPE while performing duties.
- Draft and revise SOPs and MPs, and assist in reviewing equipment logs and batch records.
- Initiate quality reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Work around high-pressure systems and heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 35 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, bending, climbing, squatting, and standing for long durations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of work experience, OR
- Associate’s Degree with 6+ months of work experience, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working in rotating shifts (day, swing, graveyard, weekends, holidays).
- Located near Amgen Thousand Oaks for shift flexibility.
