Triumph Construction is seeking a Construction Scheduler to develop, manage, and maintain project schedules for large-scale civil engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project and a strong understanding of project sequencing, resource allocation, and risk management. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure efficient scheduling and timely project completion.
Scheduling & Planning:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Define project tasks, durations, and dependencies to ensure a logical workflow.
- Work with engineers, project managers, and contractors to sequence activities efficiently.
- Track project progress and update schedules to reflect actual conditions.
Coordination & Communication:
- Conduct regular meetings to review the timeline, address issues, and coordinate next steps.
- Communicate schedule updates, potential delays, and adjustments to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure labor, materials, and equipment are scheduled properly.
Risk Management & Analysis:
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays before they impact project completion.
- Analyze potential risks that could affect the schedule and develop mitigation strategies.
- Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) to identify key project activities and ensure efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and justifications.
- Provide progress reports and forecasts to project managers and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements and industry best practices.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling for civil engineering or heavy construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of project sequencing, resource allocation, and scheduling methodologies.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, contracts, and project specifications.
- Analytical skills to perform critical path analysis (CPA) and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
