This is a temporary contract position, and the selected candidate will play a crucial role in shaping Junchuang North America’s safety program. If you are an EHS expert with a proactive approach to workplace safety, we encourage you to apply and make a lasting impact on our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety guidelines specific to Junchuang North America’s plastic injection molding operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential safety concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards related to workplace safety, environmental health, and hazard prevention.
- Provide safety training to employees, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to best practices.
- Establish an incident reporting and investigation process to track workplace accidents, near misses, and safety violations.
- Develop emergency response plans and procedures to address potential workplace hazards, including fire safety, chemical handling, and machine operation safety.
- Conduct workplace inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety standards and recommend improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with management to integrate safety measures into daily operations and foster a culture of workplace safety.
- Prepare compliance reports and documentation as required by local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Experience developing safety policies, risk assessments, and compliance programs.
- Excellent communication and training skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within the three-month contract timeline.
- EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
