Key Responsibilities:
- Perform essential manufacturing tasks, including:
- Weighing and preparing materials.
- Operating filtration systems and assisting with fermentation processes.
- Conducting cell inoculation and harvest operations.
- Using chromatography and tangential flow filtration (TFF) equipment.
- Conduct in-process testing, such as pH, conductivity, osmolality, spectrophotometry, and cell counts.
- Prepare media and buffer solutions for manufacturing needs.
- Accurately document activities in batch records and logs.
- Maintain and monitor cleanroom environments, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Promptly report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
- Support process development teams with technology transfer activities.
- Follow all safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent experience in manufacturing are also welcome.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of GMP protocols and biomanufacturing processes such as aseptic filtration, fermentation, and chromatography.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Familiarity with software tools for documentation and data management.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to the demands of a dynamic manufacturing environment.
