Support the design, development, testing, and production of a diverse range of electro-mechanical medical devices under the mentorship of a supervisor. This position involves being a part of a multidisciplinary product development engineering team and requires collaboration with development, process, manufacturing, and quality engineering sectors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Setup and operate various testing equipment and software.
· Diagnose quality issues related to electronics, firmware, or mechanical components.
· Design microprocessor-driven systems that encompass electronic hardware, software, and both analog and digital input/output circuits.
· Assist in the construction of prototypes.
· Aid in the design verification process for new products.
· Troubleshoot systems, hardware, and software.
· May develop product or system layouts, detailed drawings, software code, and schematics.
· May write Engineering Study reports and additional quality documentation.
· May work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to address complex engineering challenges related to medical devices.
· Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Software, Computer, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
Strong analytical skills are required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
High integrity and trustworthiness are a must.
Willingness to work in both laboratory and office settings is necessary.
Prior Co-op or internship experience in a medical device company is preferred.
