Responsibilities
This position is accountable for the Leading strategic long term and daily warehousing activities. This position ensures that operations meet and/or exceed daily performance expectations.The Warehouse Supervisor works collaboratively with the Leadership team and Plant Manager.
Essential Duties & PerformanceAchieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departments

Qualifications

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school graduate or GED equivalentBS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration, preferred5+years of Warehouse Supervision experience

Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence & memosAbility to write detailed correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in a one-on one, small, or large group situations
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and sound judgement when dealing with problemsAbility to resolve problems successfullyAbility to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions
