This position has a schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch period.
A Plastic Manufacturing company in Belmont, NC, is on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, staff management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will develop and implement efficient processes for material handling and storage to optimize workflow and productivity. A key part of this position will involve training and supervising warehouse staff while ensuring that all team members adhere to company policies and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen ability to analyze and solve operational challenges. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics planning.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring proper execution of procedures and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including tracking deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Analyze operational performance and propose improvements as needed.
- Create reports on warehouse performance metrics and present them to upper management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact with various stakeholders and teams.
