Summary: Supervise Compression personnel and activities on assigned shift to ensure timely production of quality products in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals on the shift
Supervise production activities and provide direction and support shift
Enforce Company policies, safety standards, quality, GMPs and ISO procedures
Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees
Responsible for accurate production reporting (Mattec/WebEFF) and timekeeping
Drive improvements in production efficiency and MEEF
Direct work assignments and ensure efficient labor utilization
Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement

Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience. Degree a plus.
3+ years experience in leadership position with proven ability to deliver desired results
Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees
Able to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data and react to changes and challenges in the business
Knowledge of Compression operations and company procedures
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
Good software skills (Word, Excel, LotusNotes, WebEFF, etc.)
Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/move (up to 50 pounds periodically)
Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects.
Able to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
Able to work overtime as needed
Prefer 5 year’s experience in Compression molding and/or strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn compression molding
Forklift experience a plus
